Sitting roughly one mile off Interstate 64 in Franklin County is a 127-acre family farm.
The farm grows corn and a neighbor's cows sit on part of the land. Most days, you can catch a glimpse of a small black cat named Pluto, who roams the barns and fields, keeping mice away.
Most notably, the farm is home to Whiskey Thief Distilling Co., a craft bourbon distillery, which produces about 1,000 barrels of bourbon annually.
For as big as Kentucky's bourbon industry is, this craft distillery provides an intimate experience for tourists who can visit the farm, walk through the distillery, and watch the bourbon-making process up close.
