Whiskey Thief Distilling Co. in Frankfort, Kentucky is like no other distillery tour or visitor experience along the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. The family history doesn’t go back to the pre-prohibition days, there are no photos of the owners grandpappy making hooch out in the woods and being chased by a revenuer, and you’ll likely have a hard time finding their product on a store shelf outside of the distillery. Now, with all that said, a visit to this farm distillery located about 5 minutes off Interstate-64 should be on your bourbon bucket list. The visitor experience at Whiskey Thief is just plain fun….
